Strawberry Basil Orange Popsicle

What a freaking mouthful! Strawberry basil orange Popsicle.  We promise, it’s totally worth the tongue twister, especially with the heat we felt last weekend.  Beautiful people, it’s coming, SUMMER is coming and we cannot WAIT.  So, we are preemptively  preparing ourselves with all of the Popsicles.  This week, strawberry basil orange Popsicle.  It’s light, refreshing, and best of all, all natural and 100% healthy.  No added sugars, just au natural.  As a tongue-twisted Popsicle should be.

We have our favourite items below that we need to make our Popsicles.  Obviously, the first and most important item is what you blend this au natural beauty with  We would never suggest anything other than a Vitamix (okay fine, maybe we would recommend a Margaritaville blender – OMG genius idea – just add tequila and lime then you have an amazing strawberry basil orange margarita!!!!!!! Why didn’t we think of this earlier).  Huge digression, let’s get back to it… the recipe!

  Strawberry Basil Orange Popsicle


  1. 2 cups strawberries
  2. 1/2 cup basil
  3. 1.5 cups orange juice


  1. Combine ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Poor juice evenly into popsicle moulds.
  3. Add popsicle sticks and freeze until frozen

Okay, so in addition to the Vitamix, we absolutely love the basic Popsicle moulds.  After we freeze them, we put them into a tupperware or baggies for the sole purpose of space saving solutions.  But seriously, the best part of the original Popsicle moulds is that you can place the Popsicle stick in that perfect spot such that it’s not too short! Okay, we also had to share these amazing pineapple and watermelon moulds…. probably a great idea for a new Popsicle flavor.
