The darkness of winter is rising and spring is blooming all around. OMG…without our heavy winter boots as go-to’s every day, what the heck do we put on our feet this time of year?? It’s a bit too warm for Uggs (shhhh…don’t tell our feet cuz we wear them anyways). It’s a bit too cold for open toes. You can’t wear Hunter boots to work, although we wish we could! So…what do you wear for Spring?? We are here to help with our favourite spring heels!!
First, Samantha is FULL on embracing sunnier, warmer weather with her whites and blues. We should really discuss how we’ve both stepped out of our black outfits. It’s a mega BIG deal. Honestly! Okay so back to the outfit. Blue and white striped tops, yes please. Paired with white jeans, double yes please. We even have our grey Chloe out to play for spring.
Now a discussion about the shoes – we are not quite out of the horrendous weather yet so we love booties. These Aquazurra booties know exactly what spring is about; warmth with hints of skin. They are not full-on booties thanks to the cute straps that wrap around the ankle. Also, the nude colour plays into any spring outfit so perfectly. We are obsessed.
Michelle’s go to is nude shoes. You can’t go wrong. They elongate your legs, which should be the main reason to rock them, and the neutral colour basically anything you’re going to wear. We love the patent nude look, but are open to seeing nude in a lot of styles and textures. Even if you’re a black on black kinda gal, nude shoes instantly brightens up your outfit AND let’s you pair your outfit with a lighter coloured purse! We’ve paired these with our fave Frame jeans (see previous denim post) and a light pink leather vest to brighten up even the dreariest Spring days.
These particular ones from Jimmy Choo have a little platform for that added height. We all want that added height, right?? We also are huge on the rounded toe of these ones. Pointy toes on our Valentino’s, but rounded toes are more lady like and softer, which is perfect for a Spring Day!
Here’s a selection of our favourite shoes for Spring all under $100…
What spring heels are you rocking?
