Hello lovely readers. Have we got a treat for you today. Is anyone else dying over this horrendous weather?! We are so we have taken it upon ourselves to aggressively channel sunnier/warmer weather. Hence today’s post: spring dresses. We absolutely adore the options this season; there are so many fun patterns and colours that are brighter than our usual black. Springing ahead is something the clocks have done and we are following suit so why don’t you dive in with us.
First up, Samantha is obsessing over polka dots. It was that or stripes. Nevertheless, aren’t you surprised she is not in black?! To be honest, we are aware that the navy blue is not far off black. We are just going to go ahead with the colour credit. Out of the comfort zone we go. This fun spring dress let’s us play into the weather; nice and sunny day, no tights, high heels, no problem. Rain really coming through again; tights, boots, dress, no problem. Always always back to our favourite: versatility.
Obviously we had a sunny day so had to pair it with pink (guess what colour we would have picked if it were raining!). There is something so charming about blue and pink. Perhaps it is the great contrast it provides, or the softness the pink adds to the blue. Regardless, our pink Chloe bag with our pink Louboutins would probably make anything look good. Can we have each in every colour please?!
Next, Michelle is following suit by sprinting out of black and sticking with Sam’s lead in pink. Dusty pink. Michelle is completely taken by dusty pink these days! This long sleeve dress lets us keep warm on a brisk afternoon and lets us feel more comfortable going bare legged! We love pairing this with a jean jacket and our fave Stan Smiths or a leather jacket and ankle boots!
The white contrast stripe down the side and across the bottom is probably our favourite thing about this perfect Spring dress. It contours the body lines so well and just pops! We’ve paired this dress with a brown LV clutch and light purple ankle boots for that perfect Spring day…or the not so perfect ones where you just dream of warmer weather at your desk!
What are you favourite spring dresses?!
