Holiday season is in full swing and we hope your outfits are too. We gave you some ideas for how to incorporate your current wardrobe into your holiday outfit and now we’re encouraging you to buy something. The purchase revolves around sequins and sparkles. Unless you’re like us and already have some great sequins on hand. Hopefully that’s the scenario because sequins are one of our favourite ways to get festive and to stand out from the crowds. Let’s get into it and talk about how were wearing sequins this holiday season.
Michelle is going black on black on black – shocking, but true. Black sequin top, black leggings, black over the knee boots and a black purse. You can NOT wear enough black on black this time of year, but sequins add a real sparkle to the otherwise dreary combination. We love the boots for that added sexy appeal!
We love this sequin top. First of all, it is thick and has a lot of structure which is key when pairing with leggings as it hangs so perfectly. It also has a deep V neck line which is sexy and means that you don’t need many accessories and you definitely don’t need a necklace. We love the shimmer of the sequins on this shirt but also the “matteness” of them too so that you can wear it dressy or casual and wear it more often!
Next, we’ve got Samantha in sequin joggers. Sequins and Sparkles. As promised. Can we just say that we would recommend you wear joggers whenever possible because they are so darn comfortable! These sequin joggers are no different. We obsess over them and wear them to as many holiday parties as we can. Why?! Because we can eat as much as we want and your comfort level remains high. Plus they gain a great amount of attention and are great conversation starters.
We’ve paired the joggers with some great heels that have a metallic hue to them, a simple black top and a white tuxedo blazer. Since the joggers are so, you know, full of sequins and sparkles, we’ve kept everything else as subtle as possible. No need to get so crazy with our fun outfits! Sometimes less really is more…
Happy hunting for those sequins and sparkles!
