We are 150% fig obsessed. Potentially because they are absolutely stunning and make any dish look visually appealing. Or perhaps it’s because we can rarely find them in Vancouver and it reminds us of warmer visits to the south of France. Ok, it’s both. Today with our figs, we want to talk about the fig and mascarpone tart.
We can start with the fig and mascarpone tart being so dead easy to make. Even if you’re ultra lazy, you can manage this. We want to note that if you are that ultra lazy type, we recommend just buying a pie crust instead of making it. However, if you’re only lazy and not ultra lazy, you could probably handle making the tart recipe below in addition to the filling recipe. We’ve got the tart recipe so that it can easily be made gluten free, if you so desire.

See, that fig and mascarpone tart recipe is crazy easy, and essentially non-bake (except the crust). Trust us, your guests will be gushing over this beautiful thing. It might even be left untouched and left as decor… Unless you’ve got that one person who will just dig right in! They will leave everyone else wanting to try more.
