Butternut Squash Carbonara

Whether it’s hearty and tasty salads or homemade popsicles, we are always looking for fun ways to eat healthy.  One of the best ways to eat healthier is pulling out the spiralizer!!  We are pasta lovers, no question about it, but recently we’ve ventured into zucchini noodles or butternut squash noodles.  Below you’ll find our answer to a delicious carbonara made of squash!  No carbs, no cream – just delicious ingredients and taste!

Squash, garlic and sage

We love starting with the freshest ingredients, whether it’s herbs or the meat, we love supporting local and going to the market.  Fresh, local ingredients always elevate your meal no matter what you’re making; you really truly can taste a HUGE difference.  Given this dish is so vegetable forward – we really encourage you to spend a little more on your ingredients, we swear it will go a long way!
